Static Line Rejection Trade

The Static Line Rejection Trade looks for a fresh test of a support/resistance line and a rejection away from that level.

Rules

1. Fresh test

Price must not have been to the Static Line in a while.

We are looking for a fresh test of the line .

Red Line: 21 SMA from the 5-minute chart, plotted on the 1-minute chart.

Crossover & Retest

Price pulls back and moves through the Red Line opposite the current day's trend, then crosses back over the Red Line in the direction of the current day's trend.

After the market open and any news, as the market calms down around 10:00 it will usually pick a direction.
